Fliggy Partners with Top Travel Destinations in France to Offer Virtual Tour

Alibaba’s travel-services platform Fliggy has partnered with France’s top shopping destination Galeries Lafayette in Paris this week to bring Christmas to Chinese consumers through livestreaming. More than 10,000 viewers tuned into the stream to virtually browse its enchanting decorations, exclusive brand collaborations and gigantic Christmas trees that feature every year in its Paris flagship location. Since February, Fliggy’s has hosted 45,000 livestreaming sessions to help travelers maintain a link to destinations around the world as international travel remains limited. Some of its latest sessions featured famous French landmarks such as Pompidou, the Louvre and Palace of Versailles.

Cainiao Launches Reverse Logistics Channel to Provide Cross-Border eCommerce Goods Return Service in Hong Kong

Alibaba Group’s logistics arm Cainiao Network on Tuesday announced the launch of its reverse logistics channel to offer cross-border eCommerce goods return service to Hong Kong customers. Approximately 85 percent of the goods bought on Alibaba’s eCommerce platforms—Taobao and Tmall— and delivered by Cainiao, will be eligible for returns within seven days, except for non-returnable goods such as food and supplements. For customers’ convenience, the company is setting up 42 drop-off locations across Hong Kong island and a digital customs clearance system, as well as a Taobao app feature to track the return status in real time. Cainiao will expand the direct reverse logistics channel to other key markets including Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Macau and Russia.

Alibaba Business School Kicks Off 4th Netpreneur Training Initiative for Malaysia

Alibaba Business School has kicked off the 4th Alibaba Netpreneur Training Program for Malaysia, jointly organized with Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) and Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE). This is the latest in a series of Netpreneur programs in Southeast Asia conducted by Alibaba Business School to train young digital entrepreneurs as well as business owners of traditional companies with digital aspirations.
