The Taobao Maker Festival, an annual celebration of youthful creativity in China, is taking place in multiple cities for the first time this year.

To mark the 20th anniversary of digital marketplace Taobao, the exhibitions of trendy designs, cool gadgets and tech innovations from Taobao merchants are free for the public to visit during the Labor Day

Among all the 10 cities, there are three themed exhibitions in Hangzhou, Shenzhen and Chongqing, each highlighting a different aspect of Taobao’s platform: wonder, technology and trends respectively.
